Hello! I’m Cory Gann, a young designer born and raised in Atlantic Beach. I grew up playing baseball at Jack Russell park, competing in surf contests, and graduating from Fletcher High. My design experience first began in Mrs. McNeal’s AP Art History class, where I first learned that our lived experience is outlined through the build environment that we inhabit.

After attending the University of Florida where I completed my undergraduate degree in Architecture, I came back home to Jacksonville where I completed my Master’s degree through UF’s local JaxLab program. My thesis project was centered on the gentrification risks in downtown, and how designers, activists, residents, and government officials all have a role to play in how a community is dissipated or strengthened in the face of rapid expansion.

Now, as a professional designer in the community, I am seeking to inform the spaces we build our lives in through the world of design and planning. Through connection, discussion and action, my design vision is to always create authentic, passionate, and unique environments with context and with love.

Please connect with me through our contact page to make your dreams for your lived environments a reality!
